Q: What is Bach Flower Therapy / Remedies


Bach flower remedies are an alternative treatment that is used for emotional issues and pain. There are 38 remedies in this system and all of them discovered by Dr Edward Bach, a well-known English Doctor, Bacteriologist and Pathologist in the 1930.

The 38 remedies can be divided into seven groups, each of the group dealing with a separate emotional quality: Fear, Uncertainty, Not at the present moment, Loneliness, Over sensitivity,  Despondency or Despair, lastly over care for others.

Bach Flower Remedies are safe and can be taken by anyone (even animals). They also to be taken in conjunction with or compliment with any other form of medicine.

Q: How the Bach Flower Remedies work

Dr Edward Bach quoted "Disease of the body itself is nothing but the result of the disharmony between soul and mind. Remove the disharmony, and we regain harmony between soul and mind, and the body is once more perfect in all its parts.’  Hence the remedies will take effect through treating the individual not the disease or the symptoms of the sickness. Each remedy is directed at a particular emotional state or characteristic. Hence by able to identify how you feeling now (or think about the sort of person you are) You will be able to pick the remedies for you. 

Let's take Crab Apple for example, is for when we are over react to the cleanliness and none stop washing and cleaning due to the COVID19 virus! The other good example will be Cherry Plum for those who are experiencing burn out and feeling of wanted to explode for locking down in the home due to the Movement Control Order. 

The Bach Flower Remedies use the power of nature to gently re-balance the thoughts and emotions; transforming negative into positive vibrations ....

Q:The philosophy of Dr Edward Bach

Dr Edward Bach believed that illness was the result of a conflict between the purposes of the soul and the personality's actions and outlook. This internal war, leads to negative moods and to "energy blocking". A healthy emotional life and a balanced personality will allow your body to find its own natural state of health.

This system still maintain it's simplicity and purity so anyone can learn how to use it. You can look up the details for each remedies (link as shown above) and you can locate in the page for the testimonials how the remedies have help many to regain their health.
Lastly, let me share with you the VISION of Dr Edward Bach. "He wrote about a hospital of the future where doctors would treat their patients as individuals, where patients would understand the nature of their discomfort, and where the healing medicine of nature would nurture their feelings and their soul."

Q:How to take the Remedies


There are several ways you can take the remedies, direct 'neat from the stock remedy bottle, two drops under your tongue if you experiencing certain emotions eg taking Red Chestnut to calm yourself for over worry when your husband need to go out and get the grocery shopping done. 

The second method is a personalized mix of remedies in a 30ml of dropper bottle after a comprehensive consultation and discussion with the client, based on the client's needs. This will be a more cost effective way to take the remedies and this will last two or three weeks. All you need is to take 4 drops and minimum four times a day. (if you are going through a crisis and need more support, you can take more frequent to get through it!)

Gentle reminder that taking larger doses at one time not necessary mean you will have stronger effect. (it's the consistency and the willingness to own the responsibility you want to help yourself!) 

This is a peeling of onion process, beginning with the surface emotions and allowing the remedies to work slowly towards anything that lies underneath. Please stay calm and allow time to learn from each layer, enjoy the journey (experience). Occasionally, you may not aware of the change until you find out response to an event in a new positive way.
